Easy to assemble kit includes everything needed to build a 3 or 4 string license plate guitar, using your favorite 6x12 inch license plate. Kit includes: Reinforced Sapele body specifically made for license plate builds. The body is reinforced and machined with necessary mounting holes for adding components. Kit includes Super Neck. See here. Lucky 13 pickup with harness ready to install. Pickup has double sided tape and can be mounted on the back of the license plate near the neck. Hardware includes tuners, strings, stainless steel tailpiece, knobs, strap pins and screws. An oak bridge that may need to modified to fit around the letters to obtain the preferred action height.  Assembly is easy: Mount harness/jack assembly to box. Feed black ground wire through small hole where tail piece mounts.  Affix pickup to back side of plate. Install tuners on headstock, use a small amount of super glue to secure the Rosewood string spacer on at the end of the fretboard just beyond the zero fret. Mount neck on the body using reinforcement plate and hardware. Mount plate to box using screws and finish washers. Install the tailpiece. Install strings and only tighten lightly.

Kit includes box, neck, reinforcement plate and back cover plate. The attractive box which measures 9 x 8 1/2 by 2 1/4 inches has a faux rosewood finish and is predrilled for neck and cover plate. The kit is available in 3 and 4 string versions. The box is long enough to allow use of standard hardtail bridges. The neck is a Deluxe Easy Neck with Rosewood fretboard. It is a 24 inch scale neck with 22 frets. This kit is ready for you to add your favorite tuners, electronics, strings and hardware. Neck includes spacer to lift the fretboard to allow the strings to pass over the Mini Box Bucker covers. You might want to use a shim on your bridge as well.

Neck reinforcement plate is included. String slots on nut are filed but may require minimal adjustments after assembly. Powered by an MGB 750 pickup. Minimum box length is 9 inches, box not included. Includes 8 string17 inch scale neck that is sanded and finished. Neck has hanger bolt and hardware for easy mounting on any box. Frets and fret board installed, includes slotted bone nut. Include a right and left tuner set with hardware. Rosewood bridge with bone saddle and two filler plugs. Four labeled nylon strings. Ukulele Kit Includes: Neck w/hanger bolt, reinforcement plate & hardware One right and one left tuners with hardware  Set of 8 strings for ukulele, see note chart below. Rosewood bridge w/bone saddle (two filler plugs) Building this kit is very similar to all of our other ukulele kits. Please note that with 8 strings the tension is more that double that of a standard ukulele neck. Make sure to have a solid box with reinforcements as necessary. Scale length of 17 inches from inside edge of nut to center of saddle must be maintained.
