Michael Bianconi, has been playing 6 string guitars all his life. In 2018 he was shown a 3 string cigar box guitar, played it and was hooked. Nothing has quite that bluesy, country  sound as a cigar box guitar, especially when using a bottle neck slide. He has taken his skills of wood working and passion for guitars and music and created Southern Fire Guitars, hand crafted cigar box guitars, made right here in Brooksville Florida USA. Built to have that bluesy sound of the past, using some old and new techniques.

Michael also has a YouTube channel (Southern Fire Guitars ) featuring building and lesson videos for the cigar box guitar, with over 7,000 subscribers.
