The Easy Fretter is a pre loaded and ready to go fretboard that is sized to fit the 2 inch material found at the big box stores. What's a Hot Tuna? Let's talk about it! Mini Humbucker Split coil wiring Available in chrome, gold, black, antique brass finish 1 1/2 by 3 5/8  by 7/8 Watch Video: MGB Hot Tuna Mini Humbucker The Hot Tuna with its crazy name is pretty straightforward mini humbucker. It's small in scale and works out perfect for a lot of cigar box guitars. This humbucker has split coil wiring and is a little bit different than some of the wirings you'll see on some of our other pickups. Make sure to watch our video on that above. We've got four colors including chrome, gold, black, and antique brass.  The Hot Tuna is a new pickup that we've designed and we are really proud of we've done, we hope you guys like it and help make The Hot Tunas a household name. Black wire is hot, green/braid is ground and red/white are where the coils connect. Note: Also available with our push pull pot harness. This allows you to easily move from a single coil pickup to a humbucker by simply pushing or pulling the tone knob. Soldered sealed and tested. This is our favorite setup at MGB Guitars.

In some builds it is preferred to place the pickup under the lid of the box, this practice is often referred to as "ghosting". Many builders have had good success using the MGB Mini Box Buckers for these applications.  MGB is proud to introduce our new Lucky 13 flat pup designed for ghosting. By adding more wire and strengthening the magnetic field we have a solid solution. These new pickups measure 13k ohms plus. We have found in testing that the pickups work well when the distance from the pickup to the strings is .5".  Make sure the magnets face the strings. Measuring 2.56" by 1.6" and .3" thick, these pickups can be used on 3,4 and 6 string builds. Works with our 6 string Boxbucker covers. View all available covers here.  

Two way action can correct either a backbow or upbow on a neck.  Twin steel rods and brass threaded blocks allow for precise adjustments to get the perfect alignment on the neck. 4mm hex wrench included. We suggest creating a slot about .25 inches wide .5 inches deep in the neck. Make sure the slot is deep enough so that fretboard does not rest on the brass nuts. Also use a dab of E6000 or silicone caulk under each nut to prevent them from moving, do not glue the rods. The slot should be long enough to conceal the adjustment nut under the neck and/or nut.

Quality guitar hardware from MGB Guitars. Perfect for homemade instruments.  String location notches are provided along the top edge. 3 string slots are spaced .5 inches apart and 4 string are .4 inches. Make sure to file the slots to provide a back angle falling off toward the tailpiece.  3 1/2 Inches wide and 1/2 inch tall. Easily sanded to get the right height. Light sanding required, suitable for staining or painting

This handy kit includes replacement nuts and washers for popular jacks and pots. Included are 10 washers and 10 M9 nuts for jacks, 10 washers and 10 M8 nuts for standard pots and 10 washers and 10 M7 nuts for the smaller pots. Use these to replace missing hardware or as spacers to get the right height.

This floating Rosewood bridge allows total flexibility in bridge placement. Dimensions are 3 1/2 by 1 1/8 inches and .35 inches tall. The length of the fret wire is 2.4, Suitable for 3,4 and 6 string builds. Can be easily glued in place once optimal location is determined.

This part is perfect for those wanting a nicely shaped neck blank for building their own neck. The Okume body is shaped and ready for the application of a fret board.  Can be used with a wide assortment of scale lengths from 23-27 inches or more. MGB Guitars is proud to introduce their Easy Box enclosure. This innovative enclosure has two sides with two distinct uses. One with a sound hole and one with out. This box was designed and built using the same principles used in acoustic instrument construction. The box is built using purfling and braces to create an incredibly strong and rigid structure. Additional reinforcements were added to key locations to allow when securing bridges. Cover plates are available to cover the sound hole when it is on the back side.  Measuring  9 3/4 inches by 7 inches and 2 1/2 thick the box is made from thin ply with a top veneer of Sapele. This box provides a perfect canvass for creating your own piece of musical art. The photo of the box split in two is to show the placement of internal components. Roughly 7 inches by 9.75 inches Approximately 2 1/2 inches deep Acoustic side includes 2 3/8 inch sound hole The box head is a full 5/8 thick Multiply construction with Sapele veneer .

Made for bass builds and measuring 9 Kohms, these new pickups are wide enough for 4 string bass builds. They will also work for guitar installations. These low-profile pickups are designed specifically for surface mounting on cigar boxes. They eliminate the need for cutting a large hole in the box and slotting the neck. Simply mount on the surface of the box and run the wire through a small hole to connect with the rest of the electronics. Make sure the magnets face the strings. Simply mount on the surface of the box and run the wire through a small hole to connect with the rest of the electronics. 8.8k Pickup. Dimensions are 2.5" wide, 1.65" tall and .23" thick. They only have one coil and  measure 6.5 k ohms plus, thus the name Point Five O or .5. We have found in testing that the pickups work well when the distance from the pickup to the strings is .5".  Measuring 2.56" by 1.6" and .3" thick, these pickups can be used on 3,4 and 6 string builds.
