At .6 inches this bridge is taller than most but can be cut or sanded to the right height.  String location notches are provided along the top edge. 3 string slots are spaced .5 inches apart and 4 string are .4 inches. Make sure to file the slots to provide a back angle falling off toward the tailpiece.  2 3/4 Inches wide and .6 inch tall. Easily sanded to get the right height. Available in chrome, black and gold these ferrules are used to guide and anchor strings. The measure .36" long and .36 wide at the top flange, the knurled center measures .29". Use a 5/16" drill to make a hole. Press the ferrule into the hole and use a small amount of glue if desired. 12 ferrules are provided in a poly bag.

Nickel Wound strings are much thicker and heavier and used on the higher positions on an instrument and create lower pitches. Using a combination of different styles and diameters tuned to different pitches is the goal. The scale length of the neck is also critical a factor in selecting the correct strings. Scales lengths from 24-25.5 inches are the standard for guitars. We generally make recommendations for scale lengths in that range. If the scale length is longer or shorter, other strings may work better. Picking the right strings are a personal choice. At MGB we tend to prefer lighter strings like .013, .017 and .026 tuned to GDG. We offer an assortment of sizes in both styles. We also offer different quantities, you can buy one, three or a dozen strings. We believe our offering provides lots of options for builders. Having a digital caliper in your toolbox is helpful when you need to identify a string.

Traditional and Modern F hole template, includes 8 shapes sized from 3 inches to 7 inches. Use one side for one hole then flip the template for a mirrored shape. Made from 1/8 inch acrylic.

Two way action can correct either a backbow or upbow on a neck.  Twin steel rods and brass threaded blocks allow for precise adjustments to get the perfect alignment on the neck. 4mm hex wrench included. We suggest creating a slot about .25 inches wide .5 inches deep in the neck. Make sure the slot is deep enough so that fretboard does not rest on the brass nuts. Also use a dab of E6000 or silicone caulk under each nut to prevent them from moving, do not glue the rods. The slot should be long enough to conceal the adjustment nut under the neck and/or nut.

A very handy tool for testing components. You can connect the leads on your pickup directly to your amp. You can also use the alligator clips to make additional connections.

Chrome four string wrap around bridge suitable for cbg builds. Saddles are spaced .6 inches apart and string width at bridge is 1.8 inches. Requires a larger than standard neck, one that is close to 2 inches and the box end.  These bridges are taller than standard bridges requiring the the stagger between the box face and fret height to be near .5 inches. The mounting post allow for fine adjustment to get the action height correct. Template is included for laying out mounting hole locations. Simply line up the template on the centerline an scale length. Mark the holes and drill with a 12mm drill bit. You can use a smaller bit and file to size. Add backer to make sure top is close to .750 inches thick at the hole position.

In some builds it is preferred to place the pickup under the lid of the box, this practice is often referred to as "ghosting". Many builders have had good success using the MGB Mini Box Buckers for these applications.  MGB is proud to introduce our new Lucky 13 flat pup designed for ghosting. By adding more wire and strengthening the magnetic field we have a solid solution. These new pickups measure 13k ohms plus. We have found in testing that the pickups work well when the distance from the pickup to the strings is .5".  Make sure the magnets face the strings.
