It can be used to mark the locations of 24 frets based on a 25.5 inch scale. It can be used to mark locations of the fret markers, It can also be used as indexing jig for precisely locating the fret board in your miter box. The template includes notches for lining up with both the center-line of the box and the scale length location. Made from 1/8 inch acrylic. Product ships with protective mask in place.
