The Easy Fretter is a pre loaded and ready to go fretboard that is sized to fit the 2 inch material found at the big box stores. 25 1/2 inch scale 19 3/8 inches long 1 1/2 inches wide  .24 inch thick Available in Maple or Rosewood 21 frets Face fret markers  Zero fret installed  Zero fret is .020 taller than other frets Rosewood string spacer included for either 3 or 4 strings Use woodworking glue to secure the fretboard to the neck. Strongly encourage using a clamping caul to help keep the neck and fret board straight. The string spacers mount at the end to keep the strings aligned. 

This handy template allows the builder to accurately mark the locations for potentiometers. Align the template with the lower left corner of the box. Then mark the holes through the template with an awl. Drill the holes using a 5/16s drill. Brad point drill bits work well. Note we also mark our bits with colored tape to help find them quickly.

It is always best to keep the pickups as close as possible to the face of the pickup. Occasionally the the geometry of the box, neck and bridge creates a larger distance. If possible it would be helpful to lift the pickup and cover. These spacers are made for each of the MGB flat pups. The are 1/8 of an inch thick. You can use one or more. The screws that come with the covers are long enough to handle several spacers.

The RSG (Ready Set Go) pickup is a complete system that includes a pickup, harness and cover ready to install. Uses an MGB 4.0 Mini Box Bucker pickup which is soldered to a 500K economy harness, or a 3.0 Micro Pup and 250K harness. The pickup is secured in the cover. This pickup can be mounted anywhere between the neck and the bridge to provide excellent sound. These new wood covers are less than .25  inches thick and work well with MGBs Easy Necks, Super Necks and Easy Fretter fret boards with no need for addition spacing. Assembly is quick and easy, simply drill a one inch hole at the pickup location and feed the jack and pots through the hole, secure the pickup with the provided screws then mount the pots and the jack.  Each pickup is fully tested to insure optimum performance.

New from MGB, the Ready Box is a box that is perfect for many box style builds. The box is well built and solid suitable for any build. Works well with bolt on necks or neck through necks. The box is 7 3/4 by 11 3/4 inches which is in our estimate the perfect size.  The frame is made of 3/4" popular and the top and the back cover are made or 1/4 inch Burch ply. The box can be painted, stained or covered.  Available with many different sound hole configurations.   

This template allows the builder to accurately locate any of the MGB Flat Pups and mark the necessary holes for mounting the cover. it easy to use, simply: I identify and mark the centerline of the box. Select the appropriate pickup on the template. Mark the mounting holes and the wire hole for the pickup. Drill a one inch hole when using a RSG pickup where the pickup is already soldered to a harness.  Install the pickup/cover. The template provides the name and part number of all MGB Flat Pups and the cover options.

Due to the random thickness of box walls it is often a challenge to install a jack. Jack plates are very handy in that they work well with any wall thickness.  It is often a challenge to mount the plate squarely on the box. This new template from MGB allows you to drill mounting holes for the four jack plate screw holes. Simply drill a 7/8 inch hole in the wall of the box, feed the jack through the opening and secure it to the plate. Then secure the plate to the box. Place the round portion on the back of the template into the 7/8s hole and then drill the four mounting holes using a 1/16 inch or 2 mm bit.  Secure the jack to the plate then install on the box. MGB is pleased to announce our latest template, this template will aid in locating our Tele Style bridges. Precise location of these bridges is critical in making a cbg that will be easy to tune and intonate. It will also aid in getting the strings properly located/centered in relation to the fret board. This template works with our Easy Neck, Super Neck and Super Sixer Neck. It works with our 3 String XL bridges, 4 String Bridges and our 6 String Bridges.  Using the E-System is easy. Mark the center line of the box. We suggest using Blue tape and a pencil or pen Position the body of the template on the box lining it up with the center line and the neck end of the box.  Temporarily secure the template with Blue tape. Each insert is marked with the neck/bridge combination that it is meant to work with. Select the appropriate template insert that matches the neck and bridge you are using. Before attaching the bridge to the box do a dry fit and make sure the distance from the nut to leading edge of the saddles corresponds to the sale length. This is a critical step, always confirm that the location of the bridge is correct before drilling and installing screws.
