Chrome four string wrap around bridge suitable for cbg builds. Saddles are spaced .6 inches apart and string width at bridge is 1.8 inches. Requires a larger than standard neck, one that is close to 2 inches and the box end.  These bridges are taller than standard bridges requiring the the stagger between the box face and fret height to be near .5 inches. The mounting post allow for fine adjustment to get the action height correct. Template is included for laying out mounting hole locations. Simply line up the template on the centerline an scale length. Mark the holes and drill with a 12mm drill bit. You can use a smaller bit and file to size. Add backer to make sure top is close to .750 inches thick at the hole position.

The Easy Fretter is a pre loaded and ready to go fretboard that is sized to fit the 2 inch material found at the big box stores. 25 1/2 inch scale 19 3/8 inches long 1 1/2 inches wide  .24 inch thick 21 frets Face fret markers  Zero fret installed  Zero fret is .020 taller than other frets Rosewood string spacer included for either 3 or 4 strings Use woodworking glue to secure the fretboard to the neck. Strongly encourage using a clamping caul to help keep the neck and fret board straight. The string spacers mount at the end to keep the strings aligned.

This floating Rosewood bridge allows total flexibility in bridge placement. Dimensions are 3 1/2 by 1 1/8 inches and .35 inches tall. The length of the fret wire is 2.4, Suitable for 3,4 and 6 string builds. Can be easily glued in place once optimal location is determined.

This template is used to create and opening for our flush mount jacks. It is also helpful in locating holes for pots.

In some builds it is preferred to place the pickup under the lid of the box, this practice is often referred to as "ghosting". Many builders have had good success using the MGB Mini Box Buckers for these applications.  MGB is proud to introduce our new Lucky 13 flat pup designed for ghosting. By adding more wire and strengthening the magnetic field we have a solid solution. These new pickups measure 13k ohms plus. We have found in testing that the pickups work well when the distance from the pickup to the strings is .5".  Make sure the magnets face the strings. All strings are  packed in a reclosable 4 mil bag. Limit 10 sets per customer.  MGB is pleased to provide 3 string packs. These made in the US strings are available in several popular assortments. MGB strings are available in two styles, Plain Steel and Nickel Wound. Plain Steel strings are thinner and used in the lower positions on a instrument and create higher pitches. Nickel Wound strings are much thicker and heavier and used on the higher positions on an instrument and create lower pitches. Using a combination of different styles and diameters tuned to different pitches is the goal. The scale length of the neck is also critical a factor in selecting the correct strings. Scales lengths from 24-25.5 inches are the standard for guitars. We generally make recommendations for scale lengths in that range. If the scale length is longer or shorter, other strings may work better. Picking the right strings are a personal choice. At MGB we tend to prefer lighter strings like .013, .017 and .026 tuned to GDG. We offer an assortment of sizes in both styles. We also offer different quantities, you can buy one, three or a dozen strings. We believe our offering provides lots of options for builders. You can pick your favorite strings or do some experimentation with different strings.   MGB's CBG cheat sheet is a valuable tool for better understanding the different pitches we are referring to and can be found HERE. Having a digital caliper in your toolbox is helpful when you need to identify a string.
