As the title suggests, this kit was almost too easy to be considered a true DIY project. Just over an hour after receiving it, I had it fully assembled and ready to play.
The kits available at MGB are well-thought-out, easy to assemble, and priced incredibly well. My order shipped two days after purchase and arrived just four days later—impressive!

I chose this particular kit because I loved the combination of white and gold, and the maple fretboard neck really set it apart. Initially, I was a bit concerned that the single pickup might sound too bright, but it hits a perfect sweet spot tone-wise. There's no unwanted hiss from the single coil, and it delivers more grit than I expected. Excellent work, MGB!
If all their kits are like this one—and I have no reason to believe they aren’t—this is an amazing way to get started learning guitar without breaking the bank.
After not touching a guitar for 5 or 6 years, I’m now getting back into it, and this kit has made it even more enjoyable to find my rhythm and make it sing.
