MGB kits are made for people with a fundamental knowledge of building stringed instruments. There are many videos available on our Youtube Channel that can provide help. We are also available by phone to help.

Kit includes everything needed to complete this attractive 3/4 string instrument.

Included are:

9 1/2" x 7 1/4" x 2" box that is fully machined, reinforced and ready for assembly.
24 inch scale Easy Neck Rosewood and Okume fretted neck predrilled for 3/4 tuners. Neck reinforcement plate is included. String slots on nut are filed
Hot Rail pickup with harness installed. Push/pull switch on tone pot allows selecting between single coil and humbucker.
Mounting hardware and knobs.
Black tuners, bridge, strap pins and back cover.
Includes a black jack plate.
Includes of .013, .017, .026 or .013, .017, .026 and .036 strings.
Use a 7/16 inch deep well socket for the neck hanger bolt and a 10 mm socket or wrench to tighten tuner ferules.

Another Great Kit

Mike always puts together great kits. I've built many cbgs from scratch, but I'm not set up for electrics.
If I want an electric or something especially nice MGB is my go to. I recommend them often.

Super Easy Brickhouse Build

The Brickhouse 3 string CBG was an easy build. The parts were all good quality. It has excellent tones. I love the hot rail pickup with the coil split capability. For the price I feel the unit was a great value.

This is a great quality kit

I don't think you could find a better kit out there for this price. The box that it comes with looks great, the sound hole cuts are nice and clean, and it's well reinforced. The neck has a nice flat radius and low frets, and just the right amount of thickness to it.
Everything was easy to assemble. I did have a couple of small issues and contacted MGB and they were quick to respond and help me out.
Overall this is a nice little instrument, it sounds great, looks great and is fun to play.

A lot of fun!!

If you're on the fence buy one. If you got basic handyman/woodworking skills they're simple to put together. I had mine together in about 45 min. And I can't put it down! They're very easy to play only being three strings tuned to open G. Match it with a brass slide and you get that Delta blues sound. I will definitely. be buying more. Im hoping my wife's got me another one under the tree! If you buy one you will want more! It's a lot of fun to be had for $125!
