Ever since 2017 when I built this one-piece mesquite guitar, I wanted to hear what it sounded like plugged in. Soundhole pickups (even a humbucker!) were tried, but I knew it could sound more acoustic-y with a piezo system. But where to cut that preamp hole? Inspiration hit and I got it installed. After years of designing and building my own circuits, I found the plug 'n play system makes it way easier. It worked perfectly in one try, and got better once I got it EQ'd. Will recommend it and show it to whoever will pay attention. Hopefully it results in sales and y'all can keep your prices affordable (this is absolutely necessary!)

This is a nice preamp for CB Ukes. I really like the braided under saddle piezo pickup. It cuts way down on the microphonics you can get with piezo discs and has a nice full sound. The adjustable treble and bass helps in tailoring the sound to your liking. I found that drilling the hole for the under saddle pickup at an angle through the bridge helps it lay flat under the saddle. Easy installation, with everything you need included in the kit at an excellent price.
