These low-profile pickups are designed specifically for surface mounting on cigar box guitars. They eliminate the need for cutting a large hole in the box and slotting the neck. Simply mount on the surface of the box and run the wire through a small hole to connect with the rest of the electronics. Make sure the magnets face the strings.

Dimensions are 1.75" wide, 1.65" tall and .23" thick.

I bought two and put them on cigar boxes I made from scratch. I was pleasantly surprised by how great these sounded. I’ll be ordering more. I bought the covers, too.

Super simple to install and with purchase of the cover plate I got a nice clean finish look. I’ve since bought three more and still see multiple purchases to come. These Mini Box Bucker's are Awesome sounding pickups. Easy to install, no routing the box or the neck out to make your pickup fit. The cost is a very good value, if not the best out there.
