Nice blanks at a great price. I like to "age' mine in strong tea, just to get the brownish rather than white, but these work great.

It's bone. It's a nut. I ordered the shaped nut ready to be filed for strings (length not specified). It's too short for the guitar I'm building (1 3/4 inch wide neck), but I'll use it on another guitar. Shoulda ordered the bone blank (2 inches long). Anyway, It's great quality.
