In my round build, I wanted the Boxbucker in the bridge position, mainly because of the need to only drill a hole for the wire. The Seven-Fitty isn't quite as convenient, because you have to accommodate the depth of the pickup and create space for it (i.e. basically need to do a route for it because with the bobbins, it's taller than the inside of the cover). It's a minor complaint, as the pickup itself is a good sounding single coil that also looks cool with the stamped aluminum cover. I'm definitely a fan of these, and in the neck position it compliments a bridge position Boxbucker excellently. They also phase with each other a little "off", which has a cool nasally tone with both engaged at the same time.

I've been using these in my builds for years. The tones and volume that come out of these little suckers is unbelievable. So is the price!!

A "partscaster" I built used Fender Tex-Mex pickups. At some point the pickups and neck ended up on another guitar. When I decided to get it playing again, it was either three Kiesel S60s or these. This is my second time trying these pups and they are right up there with the Kiesel S60s. Not only can't be beat for the price, they can't be beat, period.
Now, a good word for MGB in the area of customer service: Excellent.
2 of these pups ohmed out bad. I let MGB know, and they sent me 2 more. They worked great. Will definitely be recommending these to others and using them in my last few builds.
