My builds are meant to be fully-giggable 6-string CBG's that one could play at any type of performance, from gnarly portable-amp "busking" to a full-on band gig. I like combining piezos and other "traditional CBG" style electronics with your contemporary standard electric guitar pickups and such, wired either with switches or with separate knobs to blend in all pickups (think "J-bass" wiring), and I've used the Lucky 13 in two builds as a neck position and middle position, respectively, both under-the-lid installs. I love how it almost creates a completely different voice for the guitar, offering less output than the bridge pickup (due to the distance), but maintains a full-bodied, clear sound. I call it my "secret rhythm circuit". When these come back in stock, I'm planning on trying to do a build with two of these under the lid (in neck and bridge positions) with a 3-way switch, for a box that I want to leave intact on top. Also eventually would like to do a couple with these on top of the lid with the boxbucker cover for an almost steampunk look.
