Have built a bunch of these as cigar box ukes. No problems and the customers are very happy with their new instrument. Love seeing those smiles.

The concert ukulele kit is outstanding and the materials are of great quality. The only problem was my mistake. I had not realized that the top of the box was made of about 5/16" mdf type material and doesn't transfer the string vibrations well - I should have just turned it over but I was already committed with its orientation. One other slight issue is that the nut is pretty much soprano sized and very narrow for my fat fingers. However I still love everything about the kits and I want to build a tenor uke next.

This was my first attempt at making a ukulele. It was a great little project that turned out great. Very easy to do.

Everything you need just add the box. Goes together easy. All parts of good quality & excellent price. For sound holes, I like to cut various designs in the top with scroll saw. Love to give as gifts to family & friends. Thanks MGB
