They save a ton of time and work great. Just need a little sanding and any finish you like. Drill your holes, glue on your fret board, install in a snap and you've got a quality neck for your build. Here's two I did recently.

Using these necks are a great start to a build. You can use your own design for a fretboard and have a straight true neck ready to install.

I was hopeful it was a quicker solution than carving our own neck, but it’s turned out to be a week ordeal and still not finished. it was our first try with a bolt on neck instead of board through the box. we didn’t know we must also have ordered the metal plate, which will take another week to arrive and can’t find a similar item at box stores. we are on a deadline for a festival. Also the completed fretboard that we ordered will not fit the bolt on neck. with no fret wire or guitar store near us, we are now trying to build our own fretboard that might fit the neck, but it’s not going well. I like the fretboards, love the custom tail pieces they have. overall they are good products.
