This is my first try at assembling a cigar box guitar. The kit components were well packaged and assembly went well (I think), even with my fumbly fingers. I did add corner embellishment to protect the paper on the box. Now to the issues that I came across. Some of the screw fasteners protrude into the box more than necessary. However are not obviuosly visible once the box is closed. Had to reorient the three tuners a couple time until I was sure of proper placement. Social media helped. Once I had strung the guitar, it appeared that the action was quite low. Placed the circular tab (remove before assembly) that was attached the the box under the bridge. It fit withing the pattern of the mounting screws without any modification. Did drill a hole in the center for the ground wire. Other that that, I am pleased with the kit. The neck is a very nice piece. Will be building more in the future.
