MGB kits are made for people with a fundamental knowledge of building stringed instruments. There are many videos available on our Youtube Channel that can provide help. We are also available by phone to help.

This kit includes a neck, box, cover plate and neck reinforcement plate ready to assemble. The kit is available in 3 or 4 string models predrilled and ready for MGB enclosed tuners. These are limited addition as we never know if or when we will find additional boxes. Simply add your choice of electronics, tuners and trim pieces to finish. Ghosting a Lucky 13 of Point Five O work well with this combination. The kit includes a 24 inch scale Easy Neck with Maple fretboard drilled for 3 or 4 tuners. Use the neck spacer to raise the neck when using a standard hard tail bridge.

MGB kits are made to order and can take a few extra days to prepare. They may ship in a few days or could take up to a week.

Great kit, great sound

Just finished putting this kit together and was amazed at the acoustic sound I get out of it. Only added 2 small screened hole covers to the face and had expected them to give me just a so-so result, but I was totally blown away by the rich tone I got. Great kit!

Carillo kit

This is a great kit, the hard stuff is done for you. I did a 3 string version with a ghosted lucky 13 everything fit great and it sounds awesome. This a great kit for anyone that wants to build a CBG. I did add a couple of screws from the bottom to keep the lid closed.
