These low-profile pickups are designed specifically for surface mounting on cigar box guitars. They eliminate the need for cutting a large hole in the box and slotting the neck. Simply mount on the surface of the box and run the wire through a small hole to connect with the rest of the electronics.

This kit includes a neck, box, cover plate and neck reinforcement plate ready to assemble. The kit is available in 3 or 4 string models predrilled and ready for MGB enclosed tuners. These are limited addition as we never know if or when we will find additional boxes. Simply add your choice of electronics, tuners and trim pieces to finish. Ghosting a Lucky 13 of Point Five O work well with this combination. The kit includes a 24 inch scale Easy Neck with Maple fretboard drilled for 3 or 4 tuners. Use the neck spacer to raise the neck when using a standard hard tail bridge.

Make sure to file the slots to provide a back angle falling off toward the tailpiece.
