Easy Box XL Double Sided Enclosure

MGB Guitars is proud to introduce their Easy Box XL enclosure. This innovative enclosure has two sides with two distinct uses. One with a sound hole and one with Bigfoot sound hole. This box was designed and built using the same principles used in acoustic instrument construction. The box is built using purfling and braces to create an incredibly strong and rigid structure. Additional reinforcements were added to key locations to allow when securing bridges. Cover plates are available to cover the sound hole.
Measuring 11 1/2 inches by 8 inches and 2 1/2 thick the box is made from thin ply with a top veneer of Sapele. This box provides a perfect canvass for creating your own piece of musical art. The photo of the box split in two is to show the placement of internal components.

Acoustic side includes 2 5/8 inch sound hole
The box head and tail are a full 5/8 thick

Included are:
11 1/2” x 6" x 2 1/2" Atabey box that is fully machined and ready for assembly. Box ships with Atabey logo that can easily be removed with lacquer thinner providing a blank white canvas.
24 inch scale MGB Easy Neck Rosewood and Okume fretted neck with fin style face markers. The neck is predrilled for 3 or 4 tuners. Nut is pre slotted and may need adjustment. Neck reinforcement plate is included.
MGB Micro Pup and cover
Chrome, black or gold tuners, bridge, strap pins, Includes a chrome surface jack plate.
Includes a pack of .013, .017, .026 or .013, .017, .026 and .036 strings.
Use a 7/16 inch deep well socket for the neck hanger bolt and a 10 mm socket or wrench to tighten tuner ferules.

Measuring 9 3/4 inches by 7 inches and 2 1/2 thick the box is made from thin ply with a top veneer of Sapele. IT comes in two versions one is unfinished and the other has several coats of spray finish.
