It's small in scale and works out perfect for a lot of cigar box guitars. This humbucker has split coil wiring and is a little bit different than some of the wirings you'll see on some of our other pickups. Make sure to watch our video on that above. We've got four colors including chrome, gold, black, and antique brass.  The Hot Tuna is a new pickup that we've designed and we are really proud of we've done, we hope you guys like it and help make The Hot Tunas a household name. Black wire is hot, green/braid is ground and red/white are where the coils connect. Note: Also available with our push pull pot harness. This allows you to easily move from a single coil pickup to a humbucker by simply pushing or pulling the tone knob. Soldered sealed and tested. This is our favorite setup at MGB Guitars.

Our 2nd generation humbucker pickup specifically designed for use in cigar box guitars! The best just got better, we listened to our customers and made some improvements. The cover and frame are now rosewood, we have also added a black fiber baseplate to add strength and style. We still use Alnico 5 magnets which add more focus and enhanced dynamics. Enamel-coated magnet wire delivers warm vintage-style tones. These pickups available in 3 and 4 string configuration measure 8.8k. Available in chrome, black and gold these ferrules are used to guide and anchor strings. The measure .36" long and .36 wide at the top flange, the knurled center measures .29". Use a 5/16" drill to make a hole. Press the ferrule into the hole and use a small amount of glue if desired. 12 ferrules are provided in a poly bag.

Quality Crafted Guitar/Ukulele Neck | Install Ready Easy to Install 20 Inch Scale 19 Frets 3 String Ready Sanded, Finished and ready to use Overall Length 19” Nut and Tuners Included,  Some Assembly Required Hardwood Construction with Rosewood Fingerboard Ready to go out of the box. Solid hardwood construction with a synthetic fret board.  The neck is sanded and has a spray finish. The Rosewood fret board is unfinished. The overall length is 16 inches and the fret board overhangs the neck by 2-3/4 inches. The neck is 1-3/8 inches wide at the nut and 1 -7/8 inches wide at other end. The nut is set to the right height. Mounting is easy using the hanger style bolt. 

Pre-soldered jack, push-pull pot, with a capacitor. To connect a push-pull harness to a Box Bucker Gen 2 or any other split coil pickup connect as follows. There is a long black wire which is the ground wire for the bridge. The shorter black wire includes a white lead that goes to the hot on the pickup , the bare jacket wire goes to the ground from the pickup.  The center tap wires, usually red/green  connect to one of the top tabs on the switch.
