Bottle cap knob inserts. Add your favorite brew to your favorite build. These bottle cap knob inserts can be easily used with any bottle cap. Simply remove the liner from the inside of the cap and glue it to one of these inserts. We suggest using Gorilla Glue. Note: Bottle cap not included. Includes 1 bottle cap insert.

These low-profile pickups are designed specifically for surface mounting on cigar box guitars. They eliminate the need for cutting a large hole in the box and slotting the neck. Simply mount on the surface of the box and run the wire through a small hole to connect with the rest of the electronics. 8.8k Pickup. Dimensions are 2.5" wide, 1.65" tall and .23" thick. MGB kits are made for people with a fundamental knowledge of building stringed instruments. There are many videos available on our Youtube Channel that can provide help. We are also available by phone to help. MGB kits are made to order and can take a few extra days to prepare. They may ship in a few days or could take up to a week. Kit includes everything needed to complete this attractive resonator style box instrument. Similar to our existing Metal Resonator kit, this kit uses a brass/gold resonator and gold hardware. Available in three or four string. Although this is a little more complicated build we are here to help, just give us a call. Included are: 11" x 7" x 2.5" aluminum box that is fully machined, reinforced and ready for assembly. 24 inch scale Okume and Maple Deluxe Easy Neck predrilled for  three or four tuners. Neck reinforcement plate. String slots on nut are filed but may require minimal adjustments after assembly. Powered by an MGB 4.0 Mini Box Bucker pickup. Pickup is pre-soldered to harness and ready for easy installation. Includes tuners, knobs and strap pins. Resonator cone, cover, biscuit bridge with several shims for final action adjustment. Includes a 3 pack of .013, .017 .026 or .013, .017 .026 and .036 strings. It's small in scale and works out perfect for a lot of cigar box guitars. This humbucker has split coil wiring and is a little bit different than some of the wirings you'll see on some of our other pickups. Make sure to watch our video on that above.  The Hot Tuna is a new pickup that we've designed and we are really proud of we've done, we hope you guys like it and help make The Hot Tunas a household name. Black wire is hot, green/braid is ground and red/white are where the coils connect. Note: Also available with our push pull pot harness. This allows you to easily move from a single coil pickup to a humbucker by simply pushing or pulling the tone knob. Soldered sealed and tested. This is our favorite setup at MGB Guitars.
