MGB is pleased to announce our latest template, this template will aid in locating our Tele Style bridges. Precise location of these bridges is critical in making a cbg that will be easy to tune and intonate. It will also aid in getting the strings properly located/centered in relation to the fret board. This template works with our Easy Neck, Super Neck and Super Sixer Neck. It works with our 3 String XL bridges, 4 String Bridges and our 6 String Bridges.  Using the E-System is easy. Mark the center line of the box. We suggest using Blue tape and a pencil or pen Position the body of the template on the box lining it up with the center line and the neck end of the box.  Temporarily secure the template with Blue tape. Each insert is marked with the neck/bridge combination that it is meant to work with. Select the appropriate template insert that matches the neck and bridge you are using. Before attaching the bridge to the box do a dry fit and make sure the distance from the nut to leading edge of the saddles corresponds to the sale length. This is a critical step, always confirm that the location of the bridge is correct before drilling and installing screws.

This box was designed and built using the same principles used in acoustic instrument construction. The box is built using purfling and braces to create an incredibly strong and rigid structure. Additional reinforcements were added to key locations to allow when securing bridges. Cover plates are available to cover the sound hole when it is on the back side.  Measuring  9 3/4 inches by 7 inches and 2 1/2 thick the box is made from thin ply with a top veneer of Sapele. The box is built using purfling and braces to create an incredibly strong and rigid structure.   Made to fit most standard modern 6" by 12" license plates. Opening measures 6 inches by 12 inches.  Measuring 7 1/4 inches by 13 1/8 inches and 1 7/8 thick the box is made from thin ply with a top veneer of Sapele  Box is finished with a semi gloss oil product Mounting holes are provided for the volume and tone control. This box works perfectly with the Super Neck and Easy Neck. With a Super Neck the bridge or saddle will be roughly 4 1/4 inches from the left edge of the plate. Ghosting  any MGB Flat pup on the back side of the plate provides solid output. Secure with double sided tap, hot glue or epoxy, make sure to have the magnet face the strings. MGB Guitars is proud to introduce their Easy Box Trappy enclosure. According to Bill Jehle this shape for an instrument body dates to the early 1800s, before cigar boxes were created. This innovative trapezoidal enclosure has two sides with two distinct uses. One with a sound hole and one without. The box comes in three versions, one with no control plate opening, one with the control plate on the sound hole side and one with the control plate opening on the back. This box was designed and built using the same principles used in acoustic instrument construction. The box is built using purfling and braces to create an incredibly strong and rigid structure. Additional reinforcements were added to key locations to allow when securing bridges. Cover plates are available to cover the sound hole when it is on the back side.  Measuring 12 1/2 inches long, by 4 1/2 inches at the top, by 8 inches at the bottom and 2 1/2 thick, the box is made from thin ply with a top veneer of Sapele. This box provides a perfect canvass for creating your own piece of musical art. The box head and tail are a full 5/8 thick. They are sufficiently long for almost all styles of builds.

New from MGB, a quick and easy way to precisely position the bridge on your next build. This template will all allow you to mark the proper locations for the mounting holes on your bridge onto the box. It works with standard 3,4 and 6 string bridges. It will also work with MGB 3 string XL bridges.  First mark your box with a centerline then a  line for the scale length. Position the template on over these lines. Drill the appropriate holes along with the ground wire hole.

The Easy Connector is a quick and easy way to connect electrical components without solder. Strip the wires back 1/4" then press the lever and insert the wire. There are 6 openings along the ground end for connecting all the grounds to a common. There are 4 openings along each side for splicing wires, for example connecting the the hot wire from a pickup to the hotwire on a harness. These spring style connectors provide a solid connection which provide a solid reliable connection. They are sized for 20-24 gauge wires which are commonly used on components.

This floating Rosewood bridge allows total flexibility in bridge placement. Dimensions are 3 1/2 by 1 1/8 inches and .35 inches tall. The length of the fret wire is 2.4, Suitable for 3,4 and 6 string builds. Can be easily glued in place once optimal location is determined.

The Easy Fretter is a pre loaded and ready to go fretboard that is sized to fit the 2 inch material found at the big box stores. The RSG (Ready Set Go) pickup is a complete system that includes a pickup, harness and cover ready to install. Uses an MGB 4.0 Mini Box Bucker pickup which is soldered to a 500K economy harness, or a 3.0 Micro Pup and 250K harness. The pickup is secured in the cover. This pickup can be mounted anywhere between the neck and the bridge to provide excellent sound. These new wood covers are less than .25  inches thick and work well with MGBs Easy Necks, Super Necks and Easy Fretter fret boards with no need for addition spacing. Assembly is quick and easy, simply drill a one inch hole at the pickup location and feed the jack and pots through the hole, secure the pickup with the provided screws then mount the pots and the jack.  Each pickup is fully tested to insure optimum performance. 

Traditional and Modern F hole template, includes 8 shapes sized from 3 inches to 7 inches. Use one side for one hole then flip the template for a mirrored shape. Made from 1/8 inch acrylic.
