Hot Rail pickup with harness installed. Push/pull switch on tone pot allows selecting between single coil and humbucker.

Imitation Pearl Fret Markers

Imitation pearl fret markers are 1/4 inch in diameter. Easy to install. Mark locations for markers. Drill shallow hole using 1/4 inch flat bottom or brad point drill bit. Test drill depth on a scrap piece of wood. Glue markers in place using super glue. Carefully sand to finished height. If you drill too deep you can stack two markers to fix the problem.

Jack Plate Template

Due to the random thickness of box walls it is often a challenge to install a jack. Jack plates are very handy in that they work well with any wall thickness. It is often a challenge to mount the plate squarely on the box. This new template from MGB allows you to drill mounting holes for the four jack plate screw holes.
Simply drill a 7/8 inch hole in the wall of the box, feed the jack through the opening and secure it to the plate. Then secure the plate to the box.
Place the round portion on the back of the template into the 7/8s hole and then drill the four mounting holes using a 1/16 inch or 2 mm bit. Secure the jack to the plate then install on the box.

K-Nine Bass Flat Pup

Made for bass builds and measuring 9 Kohms, these new pickups are wide enough for 4 string bass builds. They will also work for guitar installations. These low-profile pickups are designed specifically for surface mounting on cigar boxes. They eliminate the need for cutting a large hole in the box and slotting the neck. Simply mount on the surface of the box and run the wire through a small hole to connect with the rest of the electronics. Make sure the magnets face the strings. Secure the pickup to the cover with double sided tape, hot melt glue or E6000. Cover not included.
Dimensions are 1.3" wide, 2.75" tall and .25" thick.

License Plate Guitar Kit

Easy to assemble kit includes everything needed to build a 3 or 4 string license plate guitar, using your favorite 6x12 inch license plate.
Kit includes:
Reinforced Sapele body specifically made for license plate builds. The body is reinforced and machined with necessary mounting holes for adding components.
Kit includes Deluxe Easy Neck.
Lucky 13 pickup with harness ready to install. Pickup has double sided tape and can be mounted on the back of the license plate near the neck.
Hardware includes tuners, strings, stainless steel tailpiece, knobs, strap pins and screws.
A rosewood bridge that may need to be modified to fit around the letters to obtain the preferred action height.
Assembly is easy:
Mount harness/jack assembly to box. Feed ground wire through small hole where tail piece mounts.
Affix pickup to back side of plate.
Install tuners on headstock, use a small amount of super glue to secure the Rosewood string spacer on at the end of the fretboard just beyond the zero fret.
Mount neck on the body using reinforcement plate and hardware.
Mount plate to box using screws.
Install the tailpiece.
Install strings and only tighten lightly.
Locate the bridge where the fret saddle on the bridge is 24 inches from the nut. Modify the bridge to get the right action height.
