K-Nine Bass Flat Pup

Made for bass builds and measuring 9 Kohms, these new pickups are wide enough for 4 string bass builds. They will also work for guitar installations. These low-profile pickups are designed specifically for surface mounting on cigar boxes. They eliminate the need for cutting a large hole in the box and slotting the neck. Simply mount on the surface of the box and run the wire through a small hole to connect with the rest of the electronics. Make sure the magnets face the strings. Secure the pickup to the cover with double sided tape, hot melt glue or E6000. Cover not included.
Dimensions are 1.3" wide, 2.75" tall and .25" thick.

Mandolin Kit

This kit includes everything needed to build a Mandolin except for the body. The neck is Okume with a Walnut fretboard. Binding and face and side fret markers are included. The scale length is 13 3/4 inches. The neck also includes a truss rod. A compensated and adjustable Walnut bridge is included along with a chrome tailpiece. Tuners and a truss rod cover are included. Four pairs of stings are provided including .012, .016, .026 and .032 sizes. Tuning is GDAE.
Note: Keep in mind the tension created by 8 strings is substantial, all boxes will need additional reinforcement to handle the added stress. Make sure the top where the neck is connected is thick (close to 3/8" is ideal) and rigid. You will note that two hanger bolts are used to provide and solid connection between the neck and the box.

The Hot Tuna with its crazy name is pretty straightforward mini humbucker. It's small in scale and works out perfect for a lot of cigar box guitars. This humbucker has split coil wiring and is a little bit different than some of the wirings you'll see on some of our other pickups. Make sure to watch our video on that above. We've got four colors including chrome, gold, black, and antique brass.
The Hot Tuna is a new pickup that we've designed and we are really proud of we've done, we hope you guys like it and help make The Hot Tunas a household name.
Black wire is hot, green/braid is ground and red/white are where the coils connect.
