The MGB Vee is our newest body, ready for easy assembly. The body includes a center ring, a top and a back. The top is available in two styles: blank and Hot tuna ready. The body measures 17.5 inches by 11.5 inches and is 2 inches thick. The center ring is made from 2 layers of pine and the top and back are 1/4 inch ply. This body works well with bolt on style necks. Can be used for 6 string builds. Simply glue and clamp the components then sand the profile. Finish with stain, paint or clear coat.  

These low-profile pickups are designed specifically for surface mounting on cigar box guitars. They eliminate the need for cutting a large hole in the box and slotting the neck. Simply mount on the surface of the box and run the wire through a small hole to connect with the rest of the electronics. This pickup is rated at 3k, so perfect for CBG installations!
